ThrottleUp LLC (“ThrottleUp,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard information when you use our website (https://www.throttleup.ai) and our software platform designed to help accounting firms and bookkeepers identify, prioritize, and execute outbound outreach (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect business contact information necessary to operate and improve the Services, including account information (name, email, company name), prospect contact data (business names, contact names, email addresses, company information), outreach-related data (messages sent, responses received), conversation and interaction data generated through your use of the Services (including AI chat interactions), and aggregated usage data. We do not collect data from children under 13.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and manage accounts, support outreach preparation, offer AI-assisted drafting, improve the Services, communicate updates, and comply with legal obligations. We may also use conversation and interaction data to train, develop, and improve our AI models in order to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the Services. When conversation data is used for AI model improvement, we take steps to de-identify and aggregate data where feasible.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Data may be shared only with service providers, for legal compliance, or during business transfers with safeguards.

4. Cookies

ThrottleUp does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking technologies.

5. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored on encrypted AWS-hosted databases in the United States with industry-standard protections. Conversation data used for AI model improvement may be retained in de-identified or aggregated form even after account deletion.

6. Your Rights

Users may access, correct, delete data upon cancellation, and opt out of marketing communications. Users may also opt out of having their conversation data used for AI model training by contacting us at ryan@throttleup.ai. California residents have additional rights under CCPA.

7. Children's Privacy

The Services are not intended for children under 13.

8. U.S.-Only Services

All Services are provided in and from the United States.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy with notice of material changes.
